C’mon Now…
I try really hard to keep politics off here, but you can’t tell me these are accidents and/or that there isn’t a liberal bias in the media.
This was from cnn.com on 2008-09-04:
And thanks to Easycure for another example of the Liberal media bias that “doesn’t exist”:
I’m not saying McCain is the be all end all, but I will say that Obama isn’t going to be all that different than any other politicain. Y’all can sit back and pat yourselves on the back while bringing home less pay, but at least you can “feel good” about it.
Meh.
That’s probably all the politics you’ll get out of me here. Despite the Repulican convention being held in my back yard, I couldn’t care less about it right now.
This video (from quite possibly the best 2 minutes of video a week), sums it up nicely IMHO. Make sure you watch until the end.
Damn straight…I’m going to Arby’s. See ya later.

Why do all the commie republicans
use US magazine as a hallmark of news reporting? I mean cmon. It’s a freaking rag. At least use something that tries to be a NEWSPAPER not an entertainment rag.

“There isn’t a liberal bias in the news media.” There, I said it.
Pointing out two instances of perceived “liberal bias” hardly counters the fact that the entire mainstream media is owned by the same corporations that pay the lobbyists who own Congress. And those corporations want four more years of lawless, unregulated Republican rule.
While Obama will certainly be “just another politician” (see his votes on FISA), but I suspect that he’ll at least observe the Rule of Law, which will be an improvement over Bush and McCain (who I believe is managed by the same neocon insiders).
I don’t expect Obama to walk on water, but I do expect that he’ll end the politicization of the Justice Department, end signing statements, and reverse some of the ridiculous tax breaks on the top 1% and big corporations. That’s a start.
