New Office

I got moved into an office today at work. A real office. As in 4 walls, a door and a big ass window.

Forza!

I do, however, have to share it with 2 other people. The upside is that it’s big enough that it’s still roomy. Plus, the other 2 people aren’t here right now so I got dibs on which desk to take. Talk about choices: The window runs the length of the wall opposite the door. Two desks are setup along the wall with the window putting your back to the door. The other desk is along the wall with the door, putting your back to the window, but giving you a side view of the door.

Decisions.

I took the one by the window directly opposite the door. I’m not too hip about not being able to see the door, but the window view is the best one. I also don’t get any glare. I am going to have to get little mirrors and put it on my desk so I can see who’s coming into the room.

I do have time to decide what to do. One of the guys is on vacation until the 17th and the 3rd guy hasn’t been hired yet, so I can try the other ones if I want. We’ll see.

Hmm…I’m sitting here now and the sun is shining right in my eyes. Damn, gotta mess with the blinds. Who would have thought that this could be such a tough decisions. This is going to seriously impede my work while I work on these important issues.

Back to adjusting the blinds…

You need a mirror. Then you can see who comes in behind you and shut down Poker Stars or FT quickly enough..
