NASCAR Baby!

I’m sitting here at home, and in a very un-Professional Poker Player (TM) way, not playing poker. I am, however, looking at the NASCAR schedule (while doing my fantasy NASCAR) and notice that the boys will be in Las Vegas this weekend. Damn, could it get better than that? Well, yes, if Formula 1 went back. Or Champ Car. But since they’re not going to, we’ll settle for NASCAR in Sin City.

The upside to not being in Vegas is that the weather here is finally starting to break a bit. Mid-30s is common now and we actually had rain on Tuesday. It’s about time.

Drop Game Guy continues to be my nemesis.

TV right now is hawesome. Princess, since you’re Internet free now and watching TV, here are some pointers:

* Battlestar Galactica - Hands down the best show on TV. Season finale this week.

* The Shield - Mackey great and the show is incredible

* Amazing Race - Now that they’re back to normal bickering adults it’s fun again

* Survivor - Need I say more?

* Lost - Finally picked up the pace again and back on track

* 24 - A can’t miss

* American Idol - Actually am kinda watching this season and I’m kinda liking it

Thank God for BitTorrent :)

    The Shield is incredible this season. Last couple of seasons have lagged a bit but bringing in Forest Whitaker just set the show on fire.

    F1 might be coming back to Vegas. They are renegotiating with Indy after the race this season…and Ecclestone has said he wants to move it to Vegas if they’ll let him include the Strip as part of the track. Here’s an article from the Indy newspaper

    The Shield rocks harder than any show has rocked in quite some time. I hate Cavanaugh and can’t wait to see how/if Vic gets the boys out of it this time. And what’s up with Dutch.. what a pussy.

    Oh man! Is it Tuesday yet???

    ***Btw, don’t watch any of the other shows. Most everything sucks ass, so I don’t watch much at all. Anything even remotely “Reality” doesn’t even get a chance to come on my TV… and due to my irrational hatred of The Big 4, I don’t really give a fair shake to shows like 24 and Lost. Oh well…. maybe I’ll catch them in syndication.

    100% with you on Battlestar - looking forward to the finale but not to the wait for the next season to start.

    I was real pleased when my Charter-cable-supplied Moxi DVR cut off the last two minutes of the season finale of Battlestar Galactica. I yelled out a big hardy FRACK when it cut off in midsentance.

    Gawd, I’m a dork. Like you said,Thank God for BitTorrent.
