February Recap, Kinda
Wednesday, March 1st, 2006Poker wise I’ve pissed away $300+ in February, all on SNGs. I know in the grand scheme of things it’s not that big a deal, especially considering it’s been at the $33s. When I don’t make the money, I’m generally placing 4th or 5th, so it’s not like I’m totally sucking. I’m just having issues closing. I’m trying to find some decent histories to send to Nerd but I do need to figure out how to export some things from Poker Tracker (*ahem* Dear Lazyweb, any help on exporting a whole SNG’s history to a file would be helpful, I think I’m missing something simple.).
I also need to remember one thing: Woman time does not equal man time. When my wife says something like, “I’ll be ready in an hour”, I need to remember an “hour” can mean anything from 15 minutes to two hours. This ultimately means: Don’t try to sneak a SNG into this “hour” because inevitably I will have to help with something or whatever and, well, it will be difficult to play within any realm of “correct” or “good”.
The diet is going well. Slow but steady which is probably the best way. I’m down 8.5 pounds in four weeks.
