Happy Anniversary Mrs. H
Sunday, October 2nd, 2005Six years ago today, the most wonderful woman in the world miraculously said “I do” when asked if she would marry me. Yes, I am still amazed at this fact. I am still, and even more so lately, head over heels in love with this amazing woman.
We went out for dinner on Friday night due to a scheduling issue on Saturday and the restaurant isn’t open on Sunday. We went out for sushi at Nami, a highly regarded sushi restaurant. This was a departure from our norm and a surprise to Mrs. H. The food was incredible, the service was mediocre. The entre came out way too quickly (maybe five minutes after the appetizer) and the waitress was slow in checking drinks. Of course, once the bill came out she came by every two minutes. So if you want good sushi in the Twin Cities, I’d recommend Nami, but just be warned that the service basically sucks (and this is confirmed by pretty much every online review).
I also had a little drama with the gift. Thanks to some (well, a ton) of input from The Princess, I was actually ahead of the game and ordered a gift two weeks early. Of course, they screwed up and as of Wednesday I still did not have it. I called and they didn’t have a record of my order. D’Oh! Evidently the web ordering is outsourced, so they had a record of it and they overnighted it to me and it thankfully arrived on Friday. Keep in mind, traditionally Friday would have been the day I started looking for gifts, so actually ordering 2 weeks ahead of time was a major deal
Mrs. H, i love You my Lady! Thank You for everything, You are truly amazing.
